Youth Victims of Crime

Crime, especially violent crime, harms the quality of life of children who suffer through it, feel threatened by it, or even witness it.  Violent crime can harm a child’s physical as well as mental health development increasing the likelihood that they themselves will commit acts of violence later in life.
